Step exercise in the pool. Aerobic conditioning utilizing the resistance of water and the movement of stepping. Build muscle, increase endurance, lose weight, and improve your heart rate.

Deep Water – High Energy/Low Impact Aerobics

Upper and lower body moves to firm, strengthen and sculpt the muscles by using the water’s natural resistance. Benefits include increased flexibility and increased endurance. Done in deep water. A great way to get in shape and have fun all while placing little to no stress on your joints!

Twinges in the Hinges

This program is in conjunction with the Arthritis Foundation. The class will improve flexibility and mobility for individuals with joint or muscular problems. Seven week program.

Scuba Certification

Explore the undersea world with a scuba certification. The YMCA provides this course each year to anyone over the age of 12. Dates and times TBA. Contact the Y at 663-6529 for schedule information.

Lifeguard Certification

A YMCA lifeguard certification class for ages 16 and up, who want to work as a lifeguard. This program is a 28 hour program that prepares the participant for any situation or problem the working lifeguard may face. Swimming ability is a must! Times to be announced.
