The YMCA offers quality child care programs for children ages two years nine months to eighth grade. As a part of these programs, staff will teach the YMCA four core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.

School-Age After School Program
The After School Program is for children grades K-8 attending the North Adams Public Schools, Clarksburg Elementary School and CT Plunkett. The program is licensed through EEC (Early Education and Care). Programming includes swimming, arts & crafts, homework help, socialization, small group activities,and sports activities. We accept full enrollments. We accept vouchers from New England Farm Workers. Financial assistance is available.

April Vacation Camp
The April Vacation Camp will be happening April 21, 2014 – April 25, 2014, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Your child/children need to bring 1 bathing suit, 1 towel, and a pair of sneakers every day to camp.
Enrollment Deadline: April 11th, 2014!
Enroll for 2 days, 3 days, or 5 days! Enrollment forms must be completed if your child is not enrolled in our School Age Program or if your child did not attend our Christmas Camp or February Camp.
Activities Will Include: hiking, board games, outside fun & games, gym activities, PJ/movie day, daily swim, and arts & crafts.
Lunch: Please pack a cold lunch, 3 drinks, and 2 healthy snacks for every day. No nut products or peanut butter as we have children with allergies.

The Northern Berkshire YMCA is pleased to announce that babysitting is back in full swing. The babysitting program is a place where YMCA members can comfortably leave their children in a safe, loving and nurturing environment while they work out at the Northern Berkshire YMCA.
Babysitting is offered at no charge on Monday – Thursday 5:00pm – 7:00 pm.

Koala and Panda Preschool Program
The Koala and Panda Rooms are the Northern Berkshire YMCA’s preschool programs. The programs are licensed through EEC (Early Education and Care). It is designed to accommodate families who need a full time preschool program, serving children ages 2 years 9 months through Kindergarten. The children will practice skills that will prepare them for kindergarten. As a part of our everyday activities, children will have the opportunity to swim, with instructed swim lessons twice a week. Our program also provides a hot nutritious lunch for your child. We accept vouchers from New England Farm Workers. Financial assistance is available.

Friday Night Fun Club!
Join us this Friday evening for Friday Night Fun Club!
Friday Night Fun Club is a FREE youth activity based program happening every Friday night throughout this year. Children that attend do NOT have to be members with the Northern Berkshire YMCA. Activities will include swimming, games in the gym, and arts & crafts. At this time, Friday Night Fun Club is available to North Adams youth, ages 8-14*. This program has been established due to a generous grant from the city of North Adams.
Check-in begins at 6pm and parents are not required to stay. Pick-up is 8pm.
*Age range was recently extended from 12 to 14 years of age.
